Carolina Marketing Company publishes some of the most recognized local lifestyle magazines in southeastern North Carolina — plus a growing suite of digital products and custom projects.

We need someone who picks up the phone. Shows up in person. Builds relationships without being asked twice.

This role is built for someone who genuinely enjoys the hunt — prospecting, cold calling, walking into businesses, and starting conversations that turn into long-term client relationships.

• Identify and develop new advertising clients across print and digital platforms
• Present and sell integrated media packages to local businesses
• Manage your pipeline and hit revenue goals consistently
• Coordinate with our editorial and design teams to ensure campaigns perform
• Show up at community events and represent CMC in the market

• Proven sales track record — you can point to results
• Comfort with digital marketing, geofencing, programmatic, and social media advertising
• Strong communicator who can present confidently and negotiate effectively
• Ability to work independently — this is not a hand-holding environment
• Familiarity with publishing, media, or local advertising markets is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience
• Valid driver's license — you'll be in the field regularly
